Spode Italian

9 3/4 inches across, 1 1/2 high.  Surprisingly light weight.
Printed and impressed "SPODE" marks dating this from 1916 when Italian was introduced to 1933.  Note the old time rounded bottom and the pealware blueish glaze.  Also the shading of the transfer is a bit different and not as dark as was done later.

Condition:  Excellent.  No crazing or other damage.  It does have utensil scratches.
